I swithced b/c my doc want to taper me off. He wants me on XR for a month and also take Depakote to stablize the side effects. Than after a month go to Klonopin. I just have found the .5mg XR to be somewhat ineffective. Maybe I just have a tolerance and need a higher dosage.

Would a Klonopin regimen along with the depakote offset the rebound/withdrawel form Xanax effectively?
