First of all, if he is taking Lexapro for anxiety, in mine and even doctors opinion, Lexapro is very anxiety inducing. I actually switched from Paxil to Lexapro and thought I was having Paxil withdrawal, but after 12 weeks on Lexapro, I still had so much anxiety I was scared to do anything.

The only reason I switched was because Lexapro was new and I thought it would be worth a try for me, big mistake!

I think Lexapro is a good antidepressant if you have no anxiety, but for anxiety it's horrible. What's funny is Celexa worked good for me when I tried it a while back. How Lexapro and Celexa are similar is beyond me.
