Sexual/Lethragy-free antidepressants?

Posted by zmg on December 18, 2004, at 22:40:58

I am planning to talk to my health care provider regarding persistent depression. My question is what AD have people had good results with that don't increase lethargy (I've got *more then enough of that* and I'm changing careers right now, its probably a problem in itself) and no negative sexual side-effects (between my anxiety and general sluggishness the last thing I need is to drop to zero libido, my wife would probably leave me).

Any help would be appreciated. I was originally looking at Effexor or Strattera, but it seems like there are some sexual side effects (among others). I've also looked at Lyrica and Gabitril, but honestly at this point I feel like I've looked at so many I'm back to square one.

Thanks in advance.
