Re: Sexual/Lethragy-free antidepressants?

I would suggest Wellbutrin. In a recent Consumer Reports article, it had the lowest amount of sedation, weight gain, and sexual side effects. It was also rated the least effective of the antidepressants surveyed, the others being Effexor, Celexa, Zoloft, Prozac, and Paxil. However, Wellbutrin was only a couple of points below Paxil, and this survey should certainly not be considered a definitive one. Wellbutrin is well known, however, for being rather activating and having a minimum of sexual side effects. In essence, it might almost be considered a very weak stimulant (compared to the amphetamines, for instance), but with no abuse potential.
