I know a lot of other people do have more trouble with clomipramine than I encountered. And I do agree, weight can be an issue...to me it seemed as though the weight does not appear immediately, but rather over time is insidiously creeps up..
it did help me quite a bit with anxiety and obsessive ruminations..I now am using Luvox and Abilify for the anxiety component of my difficulties. Both in combination seem to give me relief.
