Parnate Problems

Posted by Maxime on June 7, 2005, at 14:17:57

DAMN! I don't understand. My beloved Parnate is not treating me well. I am having a hard time tolerating 80 mg. I sweat like crazy and I get a headache. Yet at 60 mg I am still depressed. I will try 70 mg and see what happens.

Why is it doing to this to me? I haven't changed anything in my diet. No new meds. Nothing. I used to be able to take 100 mg!!!!

Why do meds backfire like this! Antidepressants of things? Like we don't have enough to deal with.

I am sure my BP is high right now (not in danger) what with headache and the extreme sweating that is going on. Mind you it's 30 degrees Celcius right now.

I really think it's a cruel joke for antidepressants to do this. It's like the way the old antipsychotics used to make people drool! Like someone with mental illness doesn't have enough stigma to deal with!

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Maybe I will try Prozac again. Of course I bet that one will go against me as well.

HELP?

Maxime
