Thats exactly the reason I dont take anti-depressants...I find them more trouble than they are worth.
If a medication (anti-depressant) is causing more problems than good, its best to steer clear of them.
Why not try just working with mood stabilisers? Even ones like Trileptal, although they don't have antidepressant properties..indirectly I think they do for Bipolar people, but not unipolar.
If Trileptal does its job of not putting you high...then you have no way of crashing down, as what goes "up" must come "down"..in the long run this stops you from getting depressed..as if you use anti-depressants its constantly working against the mood stabilser and causing these aggravating symtoms?
I'm sure there is a way for you to get some relief...I hope you feel better soon Maxine
