Hey all. My jaw is KILLING ME!!! And my mouth is full of ulcers. I'm in a lot of pain. Anyway so I went to the doctors of course to see whats going on. She believes that my upper and lower jaw are infected :( So now I have been put on some strong anti-biotics (two courses) and some anti-septic mouth wash instead of the salt-water rinces the surgeon put me on.
But what I am really upset about is what the anaesthesiologist did!!! He told me to take ibuprofen with codeine. Anyway, I go to the pharmacist today who I always talk to and told her the situation and she told me not to take ibuprofen and I asked why and she said "because it will interact with the Epillim (Depakote) that your taking" and went on to explain how the Depakote would be less effective .etc.
I'm really upset with the anaesthesiologist!!! He should have known better or if he didnt know he should have looked it up!!! What If I became manic? :(
I think I will go lie down now because I am in a lot of pain. Take care all and thanks for reading.
