Hi Nick,

I'm now on Celexa 10mg for about 2 1/2 months. Not long enough to tell, I guess. Also Klonopin 1/4 - 1/2mg day. I didn't notice any difference in the belly when I was off Effexor for three months last fall but that's still a pretty short time.

Is your belly more of a lower abdomen thing? Mine is pooched out like all my abdominal muscles have given up and let go. And there's a layer of fat over that. It's not that noticeable in clothes but wearing a bathing suit is a bit embarrassing.

I never had to be on a benzo for anxiety until I took Effexor for 5 years and then came off it. I'm hoping the fear/anxiety will go away completely over the next couple of months and I'll never ever take Effexor again.

What are you on now?

Marsha
