Ativan for me is not really a medication that opens you, or "motivates" you to talk. It does ease some tension and anxiety.

Serax? thats well i guess it could help with socil anxiety, its not common for social anxiety, its more for alcohol withdrawl. I guess you and him have worked something out over time.

I was Lorazepam 6mg, for severe panic, it didnt do well. It would make it a less panic, but still panic. But thats not what we are talking here.

I know Lorazepam and Clonazepam very well in there effects.

Clonazepam is a good antipanic and social anxiety med, 1.25-2mg will make you in the mood, "stimulus" to talk, not exactly alcohol wise. But it has its own atvantages.

I currently take Klonopin 5mg.

I have had to be on high doses of benzodiazepines becusae my mind i dont know, has to many receptors to shut off.

I have taken Serax, give it a try. Dont take them at high doses.
