I dunno, maybe it was the packaging, in bottles of 100 then, maybe the nice name, maybe the green and black, was it, capsules, maybe the innocuous 10mg strength. It all added up to a rather cozy and respectable image. The sort of bottle that lives next to the spices in the kitchen. So those are the associations for me. Librium has less of a muscle relaxing effect but more of an anxiolytic effect, perhaps.
