Ultimately it probably doesn't matter overmuch if a death arises as a secondary consequence or a direct pharmacologically induced event. Many, many years ago a friend who was believed to be in good spirits consumed too much whisy and LSD and then shot himself, a few days after his 19th birthday. Tragic story, no real meassage to it.
