hi! if you're having problems, and you think that an increase in Klonopin (temporary or permanent) will help you out, you should feel free to talk to your doc about it. You may also want to consider an add-on, short-acting benzo, like Ativan. Although it is true that a benzo is a benzo (is a benzo), Klonpin lasts a long time so you might spend all day under extra sedation when really all you need is a couple hours of added tranquilizing action. In my experience, 1-2mgs added to 3-4mgs of klonopin is easy to manage...ativan is easy to withdraw from when you no longer need it and it doesn't cause drug-induced depression like Klonopin tends to at higher doses.
