If you are like me, there will be a transition time as you adjust to taking Lex. You may find you have some strange reactions which will hopefully clear in a few weeks. That's a difficult concept to deal with when you are going through it, as when we are struggling and apprehensive about a new med, it's easy to become quickly intolerant of the startup side effects and negative that the new addition will work - at least that's the way it is for me. You may find it ends up being well worth it. I suggest you try to give it some time and patience... this is not easy, I know.
