Neither Luvox nor Trileptal are supposed to be that great for anxiety but they might work very well for you. Luvox is supposed to be a great med for OCD/Ruminations, but it's seldomly used today so I wonder why she chose that one. I think Lamictal would have a been a great add-on for your depression. It's supposed to be great for that. I don't know anything about Trileptal, but I know using it for anxiety is pretty far "off-label". Let us know how it works out with these and get an awesome pdoc in Charlotte. I'd try to find someone very good there instead of some "joe schmo". I've been going to a mediocre pdoc for a year and my new one who I've only seen once totally contradicts everything the other one said and I agree. Good pdocs = (potentially) quicker, better results.
