In terms of direct action, I don't think there is really any or if any, very minimal. If anything, it would reduce (to a very small degree) most neurochemicals as the action of Klonopin is a CNS depressant - that why it's a calmer downer.

I have found the action of Klonopin for me - after about two weeks of startup - was just a GOOD antianxiety med - that action itself was enough for quite a while to make a postive impact on my mood.

Mileage varies. Some folks love it, others hate it but that's true of all the meds we discuss here.
