Q oh it did make me depressed as I had just switched to klonopin from xanax was sitting on the couch said to my husband I feel suicidal but don't want to die . Called the pdoc he talked outloud to himself in the car and said it must be the klonopin. Go off it now and go back on xanax. First dose and I was fine. He had called me from his car. Love Phillipa ps I wasn't on an ad then. Just .5 xanax three or four times a day. This was when my thyroid went. Before that I was on only .l25mg of xanax. I just gradually cut down over the years. Just didn't need it.
