Is it safe to mix benzo's

I take 1m-2mg of Xanax and Temazepam 30m at bed time.

Im am sick of this, it started with severe insomnia and anxiety a while back, now its gone, but i dont know.

Is Xanax really the "Crack" of benzo's?
