similar situation

I am having a similar experience right now. My T wants me to try a benzo (probably klonopin) to help during the last weeks of the semester, but I told her I didn't need to. There are definitely times that I am more stressed out than necessary, but I don't think it's unusual. For instance, if I said, right this minute, that I am too anxious to function, I would be lying. Then again, my perception of excessive anxiety vs. "normal" anxiety is probably skewed.

It would be interesting to try the meds once and see what happens. Maybe I'll tell her that tomorrow.
