lithium is kind of rough stuff, especially if you're not clearly bipolar. If a mood stabilizer helps, maybe an anticonvulsant? Trileptal, lamictal, and keppra, for instance, *might* help stabilize your mood and *might* help anxiety (with the klonopin) and they won't require blood work beyond an occasional blood sodium check w/ trileptal. Depakote is also an option, but its pretty rough. You could also just up the Klonopin; it seems to have mood-stabilizing and anti-anxiety properties, so you might be able to go without a separate mood stabilizer that way.
As for ADD/ADHD meds...some people are sensitive to stimulants. Straterra might be an option, although it can also exacerbate anxiety (probably not as much as ritalin or the amphetamines); occasionally antidepressants and cardiac meds are used for adhd, but the results aren't as pronounced as with stimulants. Awareness training might help; some people derive benefit from biofeedback and diet changes.
