I think you need to tell your doctor about this.
Lamictal may induce agitation and anxiety.
Many psych meds can make you feel worse in the beginning and usually when depression lifts the behavioral inhibition lifts earlier than the lift in mood.
Have you had problems with self harm before you were put on lamictal?
