haloperidol and pimozide are both considered the go-to drugs traditionally for tourette's, but I agree with not taking them..I mean, what's the point in suppressing tics if you feel like crap and you get tardive dyskinesia?
Have you tried therapy for the other stuff going on that might make tics works? Benzos are a good call, I think; TCA drugs are better than antispychotics, but you might want to see if you can find anything more tolerable over the long-haul.
