Secretary told me she'll give my doc the message...now i asked for the NP to call me back since she's the one that prescribed it. So my old doc calls me back and says the NP really shouldn't be prescribing something for ADD and that i should see a psychiatrist. So i told her that NP and I discussed that and I do not have any mental health coverage from my insurance, so that's why i went through their office. So I asked her to call my ins. co. and ask them if with a referral i can see a pdoc.

And the last time i went to see her because the AD wasn't working she came in and said "are you messing with your drugs again"...which is why i decided to start seeing the nurse practioner in the first place.

Ive trashed probably half of my past doctors on that site.
You can also complain about them to your state medical board. I recommend getting a copy of your state's doctor ethics code...usually found somewhere on your state's medical board website. Find places in the ethics code to do with competency, due diligence, etc. and just tear them up in a written complaint.
Doctors need to get it through their heads that the only reason they exist as physicians is to help sick people. Its not to make a lot of money, to stroke their big doctor ego or to brag they are a doctor. YOU are the reason they exist as physicians.
