In reply to Dopaminergics; how long they take to work?, posted by Mishal on November 13, 2007, at 1:02:30

> Can anyone help? How long should one have to wait to get fired up on dopaminergics? Leave the issue of the drug (Trivastal) I mentioned. Just answer if you know about any of dopaminergics. Please...Someone else here was posting recently about Mirapex, which is a dopamine-agonist, and if I remember right, got a significant antidepressant response at about 2 weeks. From what I've read, it seemed like they very likely worked at about the same speed as other antidepressants. You know, maybe 1-8 weeks, with 2 or 3 being kind of a standard.... I'm sure we still need more research to find out for certain, but I don't really know why they'd be much different from the others.
