yes, some categories have not been "shown" to cause harm to a human fetus, but please believe if you are pregnant that everything you ingest (drug or food)has some effect on the fetus as you are its source of nutrition. err on the side of extreme caution with meds during pregnancy (especially)due to the unreliable and limited evidence available on most pharmaceuticals.
due to its inherent severe drying of the body's fluids, i can't imagine that Atarax would be helpful to a growing fetus.
