Seroquel didn't do a thing for me - and by that I mean both positive and negative effects. In fact, it was if I was simply taking sugar pills (although they weren't)!

I know that Seroquel isn't as bad as Zyprexa for weight gain (which has put almost 2 stone on me)!

The only thing you can do it try it and monitor your weight very closely. If you think that you need the extra 50mg then take it. It's better to be a bit overweight but happy in life, rather than be slim but suffer poor mental health.

Take the 100mg and see how you get on. If you notice that you are getting hunger pangs (especially for sweet/high-carb foods) and you feel you can cope with 50mg, then drop the dose back down to 50mg - but make sure you keep your doctor informed.
