Good questions. Nobody really knows. My doc says psych drugs cause permanent changes that partially recover with targeted supplement therapy. Speaking for myself only, I say yes they do cause changes that make your brain today quite different than it used to be.

A new term out recently is called Bipolar III, which is a new category of psychiatry where new difficulties in treatment and changes in symptoms occur as a result of multiple past treatments.
