> All of these meds are addicting, and from what I read there doesn't seem to be a tolerance issue for the people that use Ultram. It's a class 4 drug. Works on Serotonin and Norepi like Effexor. Also from what I've read, if you don't have past opiate addiction problems than you should be fine taking it and that also you don't get the Euphoria that you get from other narcotics.
Tolerance is indeed an issue with ultram. I'd say the tolerance is about the same as any other opiate. Euphoria is less than other narcotics. As far as long term use, I'd say you'd be better off using oxycodone. Tramadol lowers the seizure threshold and from my personal experience it doesn't take long before your tolerance brings it to a dangerous level.I used to get rx'd it over the internet, 180 50mg at a time. By the time the bottle was gone, i'd be up to at least 15 a day, needing 4 of them just to feel anything. I couldn't imagine what kind of doses i'd be using if I kept using them for months.
Bear in mind, I'm an addictive sort of person. Surely a responsible person could keep use to 200mg a day, but I doubt that would have much anti-depressant effect beyond a few weeks. As always, your mileage may vary.
Good Luck,
Ryan
