Sertraline (Zoloft) from Walgreens Effectiveness

Posted by Sanguine on January 29, 2009, at 12:28:12

I recently signed up for Walgreens' $4/ week generic plan since it was the only pharmacy that included sertraline in its discounted meds. I had been getting the Mylan generic from Kmart and was happy with it. I am really in doubt about these new meds from Walgreens as, shall I say, the "fog" seems to have returned. I've been on them for three weeks now. FYI - I've taken Zoloft or its generic at varying doses for 15 years and am attuned to how it affects me. Has anyone else had a negative experience with these? My other question stems from the fact that these are Greenstone brand (the generic division of Pfeizer): why would a company want to make a cheaper version of their own product?
