When will my Nardil kick in?

Posted by n_wolfie on February 26, 2009, at 1:13:26

I was at 15 mg Nardil for 4 weeks, upped it to 30 mg on Feb 6th, and I still feel nothing but side effects! My doc doesn't want to up it too fast because last time I was on 75 mg I was too "revved up". I'm also on 400mg Lamictal, which I decreased from 500 mg a week ago because of severe cognitive difficulties, and now I'm more depressed!! and I still can't think straight, but I htat might be marginally better than it was before, I can't remember. I definitely can't write, which is almost never the case. I'm sleeping all day, don't even have the energy to shower. I'm going on a family ski trip on march 10th and I'm going to dissapoint eveyone if i spend it in bed, which i suspect i will. How much longer should I wait for the 30 mg to kick in? Would it have done something by now if it was going to work? I'm afraid if I up it before seeing if I get an adequate response then the side effects will disable me for another 4 weeks. If I up it to 45 mg now will it work by the time I go away, march 9th? nardil has worked for me twice in the past, I went off it because I was doing so well on the Lamictal alone. is it possible that the Nardil won't work anymore?
