I agree with buspirone being the most likely med to be an AD's little helper.

There is one study that showed rapid onset of antidepressant action for buspirone and pindolol TOGETHER. I tried adding pindolol to my buspirone (and my sertraline, and my ziprasidone) a while ago, but it made my blood pressure sink so low that I felt completely out of it for a few days. Talking about having two drugs in one..
