Hi: This is so strange. I lowered my dose of Parnate from 80mg. to 60mg on Wednesday th 25th at the insistence of my pdoc. Since then I was getting more and more depressed by the day until the depression seemed intolerable Saturday when I spent most of the day under my covers sobbing and talking to my sister (she's not depressed - how she can take it I don't know!). I decided that (Monday) a.m. I would call my pdoc and insist on going back to 80mg.
Then then yesterday morning I woke up after a long, uninterrupted sleep, feeling better than I have for a weeks.???? Was that 10 days of "Parnate Withdrawal" from 80 to 60mg?? Along with Nortriptyline from 25mg to 10mg??
I'm glad I hadn't been able to get ahold of my pdoc because I really feel good now.
I guess less is more in this case.If that awful 10 days was withdrawal from Parnate I hate the thought of ever having to go off it!!
Do you think that is what is was?
