Parnate + Anesthetic

I go to dentist on wednesday and I have read how Anesthetics are not to be taken while on Parnate.
So what is the solution? Or do I have to hold out on getting a filling until in the future when I am not on Parnate? Do dentists have other things they can use besides an anesthetic?
