The point, however, is that the standard novocaine that dentists use has demerol, and is dangerous.
So you do have to tell your dentist. It's best to be sure he understands and knows which anesthetic to use. Some doctors aren't aware of MAOIs and need to look it up-- or have their memories refreshed-- in order to use the right formula.
