There are some people who respond well to Marplan whom had not responded to Parnate or Nardil. Marplan is usually better tolerated than Nardil with respect to side effects.

Another example is on askapatient.com where Marplan only has 2 reviews. On the other hand Parnate has 58 reviews - Nardil has 48.
Would love to hear any personal success stories with it. I've been on Nardil before but it made me manic (to be fair I took way more than I was supposed to - might have been manic prior - was taking a few other meds).
Like I said I'm currently trying Parnate (low dose since my doc is afraid of my manic side). So far it seems to be helping but was wondering if Marplan would be a good Plan-B in the event Parnate doesn't work out.
