Hansi555 - all you can do is try. But be careful - Manic666 is right about how difficult it can be to stop cold turkey. Some people can become psychotic - don't want that to happen to you.
I took 3 months to taper off from 60mg Lexapro, 150mg trazodone, 50mg desipramine. And this was after I had been on meds (or a combo) for 20 years...
Right now I have been med free for almost 4 full months. And I think I am finally starting to feel better. At least I feel pretty good today!
