Hi Jerry:
Well, fixing your low testosterone actually will help bring thyroid back up to proper levels. I have been on testosterone for over a year. I use Androgel @ 1% 5gm daily, which comes in a little packet of gel you just put on your body every day.
For starters, you probably want to go with the smallest dose, 2.5 gm Androgel daily, which also comes in single packets. It may take 6-8 weeks to start to feel the benefits of the hormone replacement, but I did feel a small boost in energy levels from the first few days of taking it. But, most likely, you won't feel the sexual benefits until a few months have gone by, and these vary greatly, with many guys just noticing a generally overall slight improvement in sexual performance/desire. I would say, don't expect too much, but you will find improvements in many different areas of your overall health.
Any questions, please feel free to ask, or even babblemail me. Thanks..Jay
