I have been eating a lot of coco powder lately. I definately go through withdrawl if I stop (insomnia, anxiety, mood swings). Nevertheless, I remain relatively stable and undepressed when I do eat it.
I have a few other herbs which I use routinely (ginger root, green tea) and omega-3. Overall I've been doing very well. I've been working every day (at a fairly stressful job). Ocassionally I use some ativan and melatonin.
I stopped using magnesium since it makes me depressed and irritable (strange I know). I use a bit of amitriptyline occasionally too.
I'm not 100%, but the herbs work as well for me as most pharmacudicals did.
