that is absolutely plausible. there is significant phenylethylamine in cocoa. how much cocoa powder (raw grams) do you take a day? how often do you have to take it? you can search the board for some of my posts about PEA. bottom line is that it worked extremely effectively for my depression, but i built up serious tolerance and eventual addiction, but i required large doses, taken every 3 hours, of raw PEA. i'm sure bound in the cocoa it is probably released slowly and there may be other components in chocolate (therombine) which makes you feel good too.
how long have you been doing this? what are you combining with? is this the only thing that has worked? has tolerance set in? tell us!
