yes i think thats the main reason selegiline works different by mouth is that it doesnt build up as much in your body, and i dont thin mky mom had sleep issues on the emsam, she just told me it made her feel numb but kinda stimulated.
and yes i tapered off the risperdal, its been just like taking a sugar pill, unfortunately. im going to start cyproheptadine soon hopefully. it helped me tons for about 6 months, i slowly got better and better, but then my dose got too high. i get too tolerant to a certain dose of it pretty quickly, but while i was taking it im going i would raise my dose too quickly but this time im going to do the whole raising the dose thing a little different to keep my dose from getting too high again.
as for my doctor, she told me i made it up in my imagination that cyproheptadine helps me and i had to pretty much beg her to prescribe it for me. she doesnt believe its possible for med side effects to stick with you after stopping a med. i think im going to try finding a more knowledgeable psychiatrist and im going to tell her that too.
i used to order the cyproheptadine on the internet in the past but this time i decided to try getting it from the doc.
i just found it a few years ago when researching meds that help with antidepressant side effects but it turns out to be great for adderall and mirapex side effects too.
