Stimulants probably wont help anxiety, unless it comes from a deep, brooding depression. Thats a darker anxiety than what I get from PTSD, and it does respond to SSRIs. The PTSD stuff doesnt. It responds to mood stabilizers that I wont take due to side effects.
Im not sure what the benefit of stims + beta blockers might be. Youd only get a boost in focus. All the other effects would probably be blunted.
Ever consider zoloft? Might help with anxiety and it works a little on dopamine. Seems to let me not care so much when Im triggered, but I can still care about other stuff. No weight gain so far.
I agree, avoid benzos if you can. But dont rely on stims for an AD effect, it wont last.
