Well Matt... you did say that in the past you got kinda crazy with taking Wellbutrin and had a seizure while driving. Wellbutrin isn't a controlled substance and is not an addictive agent.. so your history of taking so much that you had a seizure really does say something about the extent of trouble you have with drug-seeking behaviors. For that reason - thank goodness your mother is ensuring you get treatment, without having access where you could harm yourself or others. She's doing a public service :-) And as for insurance.. your parents can continue to carry you if your doctor fills out paperwork saying that you need to be carried as a disabled dependent. I'm doubtful that you'll get what you want from public health doctors that treat the indigent. They see it all - and you'll probably be in the same boat you're in now.. with a doctor who recognizes your drug-seeking tendencies and will be just as careful as the one you've got now about what they give you.
