One more thing: the rebound anxiety associated with benzo withdrawal, even between doses, is absolutely horrible - way worse than the anxiety the drug was originally prescribed for. Before I realized it was a withdrawal symptom, I simply assumed that it was just an alarming reminder of what I was taking it for in the first place. Of course, I was wrong.
