You lower the inflammatory response. Avoiding things that cause an immune, inflammatory response in us is huge, but so is figuring out WHAT is causing it! There are different types of allergic reactions and we can get the skin scratch tests or blood tests and even other types!
I did change my diet.
There is more, though. My doctor said there were supplements to take to lower inflammatory responses such as curcumin plus ginger. There is boswellia. Oh, and even high quality fish oil combined with antioxidants.
There are common things we do which increase inflammation, like our greasy, processed "normal" diet, at least that's how I used to eat. I ate a lot of crappy food.
Did you read that study about even aspirin helping reduce symptoms of schizophrenia in some people because it lowers cytokines? It supposedly helped because it lowered inflammation.
