i know exactly what the vyvanse crash is like....i took 140mg[2 70mgs] in the mornng it lasted maybe 7-9 hours, then the horrible rebound period would follow, its that washed out feeling that ... you don't feel motivated to do things, sometimes even with me i would get emotional after vyvanse wore off....like ... like all the life was sucked out of me..amphetamine releases the nuerotransmitters, espcially dopamine and then it stops the stimulation of dopamine teminals and leaves it the nuerons in litterly a depressed, no stimulation stage. Like pressing the accelorator of a car all the way down and then taking it off....things slow down, and become a sitting duck. It's awful.
Klonopin helped me with sleep after it....some antipsychotics can help with the mood agitation, espcially zyprexa.
When i took vyvanse i would get motivated to do alot of things, it made me really enthusiastic, feeling every thought, phone calls, speech, function improved, doing tedious tasks like filing, office work, boring things i would hate in my current state. It's all the dopamine release it gives.
Try l-tyrosine, its at the healthfood store. It is the precurser to dopamine. It wount replace stimulant, but makes more dopamine.
