I think the reason so many of these are ignored, is because of the profit-making factor of prescribing the newer atypical ap's. I have tried a few of these older ones, in particular Nozinan and Haldol, and they seemed to not quite work as well as the newer ap's. But, I don't think I was on them long enough, and at high enough of a dose, to really judge them. I think they might be best say in combination with newer meds.
