Some people find bupropion (Wellbutrin) to be helpful for sexual side effects. It can be used in combination with Nardil, despite warnings to the contrary. Cyproheptadine (Periactin) and buspirone (Buspar) should help with achieving orgasm along with increasing libido and arousal. I don't understand how Viagra can directly influence sex-drive. I sometimes wonder if performance success and the achievement of orgasm can produce confidence and a desire to have more of these rewarding and pleasurable experiences, leading to increases in the magnitude of desire and subsequent arousals. I do not know. If anyone knows how Viagra affects sex-drive, please chime in.
Personally, I found that the sexual side effects of Nardil do mitigate with the passage of time, although orgasms may take longer to achieve. Many people find that sexual functions take three months to resolve.
