I know this has been a dead thread for ages now, I was wondering if anyone could provide me any information as to how to convince my doctor to prescribe me a stimulant with Emsam. I was actually will to just switch to Parnate, as it has the properties of both meds, but he was unwilling to prescribe any MAOI besides Emsam. He did say that he would look into the idea much further if I were to provide him with contact information of any doctor that has prescribed the combo, so I would be truly grateful if anyone were willing to do that. I of course would not mention where I received the information from. At this point in my treatment, I've exhausted all other options to the point that he essentially told me he couldn't further help me and recommended I go see a different doctor. So that will be my next step, and hopefully I will find someone more understanding and willing to try this augmentation. Any information that I could present to the doctor would greatly aid my health.
