In reply to what is trazodone doing to me receptors?, posted by porkpiehat on August 10, 2017, at 12:06:36

all the doctors that i saw, they always choose trazadone for first choice sleep aid, at the psych, but sometimes its not pleasant, it blocks rep uptake or serotonin, but it also blocks their release on some receptors, doxepin is similar but its much stronger than trazadone, trazadone sometimes would make me glued to the bed in the morning, yukky sleep aid sometimes

there's something called Rozerem, its not particularly know to be a well-recieved sleeping aid but it effects the melatonin receptors, another newer sleep med is Belsomra, it's a seems to be a controlled substance yet it doenst have much of the reputation of like benzos abuse......

seems like these new sleep aids are just wishy washy with trying to find a better way than the old generation of barbiturates and benzodiazepines, they work very well for sleep, but it's all that tolerance and wanting the feeling of them after a while, i think that's why they've been checked out.....i think all the sleep aids can cause dependence, because you needs them to go sleep.....

seroquel which is big big sleeping aid for off label use ask about rozerm if available were you live

everything can change like that, and all these years go by so fast, but nothing lasts forever
