i've been on Prozac since 2005, write expiereince - when i first started it it took a long itme to work, 6-7 weeks long time, but i noticed some kinda diffrence like a better or i felt relieved of the constant depression i had, got increased to 40mg and that's when it was working well, i noticed alot, someways i was kinda over enegized, it worked a long time a got up to 80mg, in 08, it worked fine for me. But there were events that happened, that even with the prozac the severe depression that happened after these events, caused it to lose its potency. But it came back, but i just notice now, there's no major mood lift, but i don't take it, depression will come back....it kinda adapted, so its working but its not working at hte same as first, which at first the serotonin levels when up alot, then after years its like adapted and lowered back down.... but if its removed depression will kick back in, badly

the only i noticed about fluoxetine is makes things feel "ok" not euphoria, but just content and away from the dysphoria from depression

everything can change like that, and all these years go by so fast, but nothing lasts forever
